Warehouse Logistics Coordinator

MarineTeknik is looking for an energetic, self-motivated warehouse coordinator to work full-time in our busy Pompano Beach, FL USA warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse logistics within the marine or construction industry.

CORE DUTIES

  • Communicate efficiently with colleagues, customers and carriers to coordinate all shipping activities.
  • Create commercial invoices for all shipments.
  • Maintain records of shipments and trace materials to and from destinations.
  • Setup and coordinate shipping schedules with overseas office and carriers.
  • Investigate and recommend optimal shipping options and coordinate with carriers.
  • Update and maintain internal system controls including tracking and inventory.
  • Pro-actively identify problems and implement appropriate solutions quickly.
  • Execute process improvement requirements and industry best practices.
  • Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with both overseas office and customers.

Skills

  • Disciplined and detail oriented.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and Office365.
  • Responsible mindset with ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written in English).
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizing skills.
  • Good team player with ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Ability to operate fork lift and small equipment within warehouse.

Experience

  • Previous work in a logistics or warehouse department preferably in marine industry.
  • Customs and Duty knowledge.

Purchasing and Logistics Manager

MarineTeknik is looking for a flexible and energetic Purchasing and Logistics Manager for our Poland Office. They will manage the delicate balance between the project managers, subcontractors, material ordering and material sourcing. The ideal candidate fully understands interfacing with cross-functional teams and is someone who can drive best practices and can respond quickly and enthusiastically to challenges.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee worldwide buying of marine material purchasing in line with sourcing.
  • Purchase all general and specialized equipment and materials for projects.
  • Review plans, specifications and contracts to ensure the correct equipment, material and subcontractor services are ordered and/or purchased.
  • Negotiate supplier terms and conditions.
  • Prepare purchase orders in detail for all purchases.
  • Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Ensuring on time delivery of all material to sites worldwide and provide tracking to Project Management Teams.
  • Liaising with customers, transport companies and suppliers.
  • Using and developing IT systems to track supplies and shipments.
  • Creating commercial invoices for all shipments.
  • Producing reports on a regular basis for Senior Management.
  • Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the department.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in business purchasing.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and Office365.
  • Bi-lingual (English and Polish).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while planning and executing timely, efficiently and accurately.
